We are open and thrilled to have you back. If vaccinated, you do NOT have to wear a mask. (This includes our staff.) If you are not vaccinated or have only one vaccine, please wear your mask. Make Your Reservation.

The restaurant industry is struggling to find enough workers to fully reopen so please be kind. You may notice a few less items on the menu, or your cocktails may take a couple of extra minutes. Please be patient. Thank you for your continuous support; we are overjoyed to fully open.

Go Zero Waste with Dispatch Goods Reusable Containers. We have partnered with Dispatch Goods to save the world at least a little bit. Takeout has never felt so good!

Order our amazing TAKEOUT food here, pick up at Bungalow 44. Ask for your order to be packed in Dispatch Goods Reusable Containers.

Your food will be packaged in reusable containers in a reusable bag. Dispatch Goods will schedule at-home container pick up, just send them a text and put the bag outside for collection. It's that easy! You can also bring your containers back to Bungalow 44. We have a drop off bin set up outside.

Mon-Sat 4:30pm - 8:30pm & Sun 4:30pm - 8:00pm We start taking phone in orders at 3:00pm.

Safety and Health

  • We may ask for a photo of your vaccine card.
  • Our staff is not required to wear masks if fully vaccinated.
  • Our tables can now be set a bit closer together, while being mindful of people's appreciation of personal space and distancing.

Bungalow 44 strives to be your just-up-the-street, just-around-the-corner, come-as-you-are and make-yourself-comfortable, local Mill Valley joint. Oh-so-flattering lighting, gleaming wood floors and plush, tufted booths have “bring me another round” & “of course we’d like to see the dessert menu.” written all over them. Whether you’re celebrating a milestone or a random Tuesday, we’re committed to cooking and serving what we love & love seeing you come back for seconds.

Call it what you will – New American or California – we call it home cooking because our ingredients are all found right here at home – fresh from the Marin Farmer’s Market, fishing boats and local farmers and ranchers. It really does make a delicious difference.

Cocktail hour is our thing and no, we don’t like to limit it to an hour either. Our bustling bar boasts everything from custom-crafted drinks, dry & dirty martinis to a crush-worthy wine list. Good luck choosing. We’re happy to wait.

To go with the fresh remodel, owners Bill Higgins and Peter Schumacher brought in Chef Gabriel Charpentier to bring new life to the food.

The outstanding menu focuses on seasonally inspired, bold flavor combinations. General Manager Jason Sims has revamped the cocktails, and is building one of the best spirit selections in Marin.
